Owner Bio

Angelique Champena Bella is a nationally certified massage therapist and state licensed in Washington D.C. and Illinois. She has served on the Massage Licensing Board in Washington, D.C. as active member and Chair in Washington, D.C. (2003-2007) and  D.C. Chapter President for the American Massage Therapy Association (2002-2003). She has served on an advisory board for the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) and has worked to create massage education for medical schools. Angelique has taught health in the Peace Corps as a Rural Health Extensionist (195-1997), and has traveled the world as a massage practitioner. She brings her professional committment and expertise to Hands-on Health.

Relax... Hands-on Health has Corporate Liability Insurance and Worker's Comp- we are doing criminal background checks and drug testing for your peace of mind- Our practitioners are professional, experienced, and insured.

Hands-on Health provides a personal service! We answer the phones everyday. The owners work hard to satisfy the demand for services and maintains the "small business" rapport and accountibility sometimes lost in larger corporations.

Hands-on Health provides peace of mind that your event, massage or spa session will be considered a top priority! As a local Washington, D.C. area business, you can count on personal service.

Hands-on Health TRAVELS to your location with about an hour's notice from 9am -11pm everyday (early and late hours must be pre-arranged and approved by managment). Professional spa appointments are available 9am to 7pm, by appointment.

Hands-on Health is the first choice of top hotels and businesses in the city. A favorite of management and concierges alike, Hands-on Health is personal- a family-owned business. We care about our clients, our practitioners, and providing great quality service! We are not a spa factory- practitioners do not perform eight services in a row. We strive to match practitioners for each appointment and welcome repeat clients.

Many licensed practitioners have worked with Hands-on Health since it incorporated in 2003 and continue to pamper Hands-on Health clients! Hands-on Health makes it a point to discover talent in various locations so we seek licensed professional therapists on the internet, in print, through associations, and unconventional means to better attract quality practitioners who desire flexible schedules and unique business opportunities we can offer. This pool of practitioners is not typically available for full time outcall service. The result is a wonderful practitioner who is HAPPY, appreciated and committed to doing their best for you!
